It’s been a month or two since I’ve photographed a newborn, so I was anxious to see and post pics from today’s session. Remember James and Michelle? Well, Michelle was a super adorable prego mama, and now is a super adorable mommy to Petra. Petra wasn’t too sleepy, but we worked around that, and got the shots we wanted

Petra gets to sleep in a vintage basinette that her daddy and his siblings (I think?!) slept in as babies. It’s gorgeous!

On a side note, we are excited to welcome another Brown baby into our home, Lord willing, in March!

Looks great Alyssa! What a sweetie that baby girl is! Love the feet and the big yawn! So precious. Oh and that bassinet looks amazing! I love it when mothers have kept this stuff for their grandchildren. So meaningful and unique.

(just a side note ….apparently that vintage bassinet was one James’ (and my) paternal grandparents owned. (that would be our Grandpa and Grandma Dehaas) It was our dad and his siblings who slept in that!! Now that’s vintage!)
