Inspired by a friend this morning, I decided it was about time Evan got his “I’m 2!” portraits done.   Today was just a slow day at home…  lazy morning, so we finally got out of our PJs and went for a walk to celebrate the fact that Evan is 2.  Yes, his birthday was a month ago…  but hey, I’m just starting to get over this morning sickness thing, so I cut myself some slack :)

Where do I begin with this little man.  He is happy, funny, and full of life.  He keeps us all laughing, and his big brother and sister both dote on him.   He loves them just as much, and often if Mommy or Daddy can’t calm him down, one of them can.   He still seems so “baby” to me, I guess because he is my baby (for now!)… but in all reality, he is a full-fledged toddler who talks a mile a minute.   Our family truly was blessed by God more than we could imagine when Evan joined us two years ago!

Just to remember how little he was… here’s a pic from Sept 2008, and one when he was 2 days old, Aug 16th, 2008.

Joey had to get his mug into a few…   and I am so glad he wanted to :)   This is a one in a million chance shot…  to get two (of my own) boys look at the camera at the same time being cute.  Say wha?!

I know I’ve used this door many times before, but I just love it.  So, I used it again :)   And Evan rocked it.  Actually, he cared more about the trucks and motorcycles that were passing by, but that’s okay!

Two cowlicks.  How do you even work with that?!  lol.  But, it’s so him, and oh so adorable.  Not to mention those never-ending lashes…

These two boys are t.r.o.u.b.l.e but so full of life and just want to have fun.  oh, and they’re mine, so of course i think they’re adorably cute.   It’s been really fun to see them play together so much, now that Evan’s older and their big sister is off to school everyday.  They really do love each other, and most of the time act like it :)    In case you think they look rather clean and neat, don’t kid yourself…  this was taken on a Sunday morning before church…  about the only time their hair gets combed, lol.   And it probably lasted about 5 minutes.

This pic just cracks me up every time I look at it.  She is such a fun-loving goofy girl… girl after my own heart :)    It was sad to see her go to school everyday, but she loves it – and there’s not much I can do about it!   She’s growing up, sob sob.
