One of the perks of this job is the opportunity to meet and get to know amazing people…  and I got to do that again last weekend.   Meeting and photographing Kayla was a new experience for me (she is completely blind), and meeting her lovely mom and sister, and seeing how they interacted with her was truly a pleasure.   The rain stayed away, and we got to take advantage of some pretty terrific fall colors.

This was also my first session with my new camera, and I am in love.  I was a little nervous/stressed about purchasing the camera – but there is no doubts in my mind anymore – this camera rules!  (Canon 5D for those who care, haha.)  Going full frame changes everything!

On to the photos…  :)

Isn’t she beautiful?  Kayla, you were a trooper… I know how cold you were, but you can’t tell!

Love the yellows, reds and oranges…  and Kayla reading her braille book.
