to have a healthy, lively family and so thankful to have Jesus as our Savior.
Merry Christmas!

Family time rocks. So does my little family.

More family… yay! As per usual, it’s sooo hard to pick favorites to blog when it’s people you love and know so well… every shot is special – so be prepared for a huge photo share!
Jeff is Eric’s older and perhaps wiser brother. They get mistaken all the time for each other (which I don’t understand at all – to me they look nothing alike!!), and get along like two peas in a pod. Sometimes Janet and I just look at each other wondering what we got ourselves into marrying Brown brothers – especially when they are walking around the house acting like crazy lunatics, making weird videos and pulling leg muscles. But, we love ‘em, and they keep us young
Originally, we had planned to do pics in the spring, then summer… and it just never happened due to weather. This time, we were determined – and the weather cooperated so we headed out and I am SO happy we did it. As I’ve sat here editing the pics I’ve gotten all teary and sappy, realizing how blessed we are to have such amazing family members… wow! Love you guys! (okay, give me a break, I’m pregnant… can’t help these hormones!!)
On to the pics before I get more emo.

Some of the most fun, coolest and cutest kids I know!!

The “baby”… Miss Aleeah. This girl is adorable.. quirky, hilarious and so much fun to be around!

and happy-go-lucky Jackie… Maddy’s bestest friend in the whole world…
All 3 beautiful Brown ladies…

Ethan… Joey’s role model in life
This kid is so patient and kind, and just loves spending time and playing with my boys… it’s so awesome to see!

Mr. Cody – since when did you get so old?!?! Turning into a young man, and a handsome one at that

Rough and tough Brown men. Need I say more.

Janet, I’m not gonna lie, you look HOT in that black and white pic! Rawr!

the christmas card pic…

one of the perks of shooting family is you get to see their “true” sides… LOLOL. i just had to post it.

That’s all for now folks. Stay tuned for some pics of some super cute kids belonging to me at the tree farm
When our little brother signed up for 4 years with the Marines, the last thing we thought he’d be doing a year and half later would be getting married! Well, we sure were wrong… he’s gettin’ hitched next spring! Best part of the whole deal – she rocks and fits right into our family
Assuming all the immigration paperwork goes through as hoped, they will be Mr. and Mrs. in April and make their home for a short while in Hawaii where he is currently stationed (rough life)… as there is talk of him being deployed in Hawaii. We miss having the crazy kid around all the time, but somehow knowing that he has a woman taking care of him (even if it’s via Skype!) makes it all okay
Reece is a very talented photographer and writer, and spends his days doing both of those things for the US Marines. You can often see his work at www.marines.mil, both in the photo gallery and also articles that he has written.
While he’s been gone, we’ve been getting to know Krissy (she lives here!) and are so excited to have her as part of the family. She’s an amazing, kind, patient, beautiful woman – we can see why Reece loves her! I am so honored to stand beside her as a bridesmaid in the spring (with my newborn by my side!)… and very thankful she picked black as our dress color (hides so much!). Haha.
Anyways.. on to the pics. I’m so glad we were able to snag an hour of time together while Reecey was here for a short Thanksgiving visit… hope you guys enjoy!

the bathroom signs were inspired by Rachel from Rachel Ludwig Photography… I believe she did something similar to this once for a wedding? Anyways, aren’t they hotties?!

Reece is always laughing and joking… which makes me love this pic

Krissy – you are gorgeous.

some vintagey lovin…

I might be biased, but this is one handsome kid. I know he’s not actually a kid, but to me he always will be

And last but not least. Reece, this one is solely for you. He wanted a “random picture with a big stick”. Krissy and I were sports and went along with it… the end result just makes me chuckle. Fun times!

Your slideshow will be done soon, you two!
Soooo thankful for the weather, that it held out for us for this session! The Harrington brothers wanted to get their families together for some pictures of them all together before one brother and his family headed up north to ski for the Thanksgiving weekend, so we had a small window of opportunity. Not to mention, one of the families comes all the way from Oregon
It was so fun to meet all of you… and I think Grandma and Grandpa are going to love all of the pictures, especially of the 5 grandkids! Thanks for having me, and braving the cold outside. I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend
We’ll be in touch very soon with your slideshows!
We’ll start with Brian and Liza and their three handsome, fun boys…

brrrr… below freezing… but we were lovin’ that sun!

And then Brad, Michelle, Conner and Alexa… and not to forget their “baby” Ranger!

the five cousins all together… with little Mr. Joey (love that name… teehee) stealing the show

And then… time for fun in the snow before the sun went down!

Check back soon, readers, for more blog posts from over the Thanksgiving weekend… lots of fun stuff coming!
