we are all in love with lucy. her sweet smiles and happy nature make her a pure joy to be around. she has all 5 of us wrapped around her little finger. time is passing so quickly that i find myself pulling out the camera all the time, not wanting to miss a minute with her… or the other kids for that matter. God is so good!

These pics are so long overdue, I’m a bit ashamed 
At least with Joey’s birthday pics I actually took them the month he turned 5 (nevermind they didn’t get blogged for 4 months)… but Maddy’s 7 year shots were taken 3 months late. Oh well, I was a little busy in March… 
So, we finally made it out a couple of weeks ago… and Maddy was so excited. She loves being in front of the camera, which makes my job super easy! I love everything about this girl, she is sweet, kind, happy, caring, funny and a true joy to be around. God certainly has blessed our family with having her as part of it! We love you Maddy!
A little while ago, the talented photographer Rachel Ludwig did a blog post about her sweet daughter Arden turning 5. At the bottom of the post she wrote a bunch of things about Arden that she wanted to remember from Arden being 5. Well, that inspired me, and I hope she doesn’t mind, but I am going to borrow that idea and write a bunch of things about Maddy this past year. Enjoy!
*she loves anything and everything girly *she loves that she got a sister this year *the color pink is her favorite, although purple is a close second *she can often be found sitting quietly in her bedroom playing with dolls or barbies *she finished first grade and is on to second *she worked hard to get a “G” for working neatly on her report card – and did it! *she loves wearing skirts *she always forgets to make her bed *she got to be a flower girl in her uncles wedding and LOVED every minute of it *she is kind *she has beautiful freckles *she is sensitive *she loves her brothers *she loves to color *she would rather play inside than be outside *she loves to dance *she often asks for music to be put on, and moves the coffee table out of the way and dances away *she loves spending time with her best friend and cousin Jackie *she wants to grow her hair long *she pulled out two of her own teeth *she loves the Lord *she finds Mr Bean hilarious *she finds her dad hilarious
He’s here! By the grace of God, little Jude Austin has arrived into this world. He is already so loved, and has stolen the heart of his mommy, daddy and siblings (and me too!!). I just love seeing and experiencing the love a new mom has for her baby… the freshness of new life, the special, quiet moments spent just watching and adoring that little sweet miracle. When I get to be a part of this special time for my best friend… well… it’s just all the more awesome. God is SO good!
This is one sweet, adorable baby boy. My heart is melting.

Had the pleasure, once again, of photographing my dear sister and her family a couple of weeks ago. She makes me cakes for my kiddies birthdays (check out her amazing talent on her blog here!), and I take her family pics Love it! It’s been almost a year since their last family shots, and I can’t believe how much those girlies have grown! Such a fun family… love you guys! Oh, and today is Miss Ally’s 4th birthday – HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Allyson! Hope your day is fun, fun, fun!!
