This sweet little girl made the J family a family of five… and what a fun, crazy, loving, gorgeous family they are.  I had so much fun hanging out with this family last week…  getting to know the crazy, hilarious Cohen, and enjoying their sweet girls, Layla and Elliette.  It is so obvious how much love everyone has for baby Elliette and eachother…  ain’t nothin’ better than that.

Elliette was such a good girl…  even though she took a lot of convincing to fall asleep, she was super relaxed and easy going.  Made my job easy!    Such a sweetheart.

Sweet Sophia entered this world at the beginning of September, and became a sister to Emily and a 2nd child to Jon and Jan.   She is such a little blessing and true gift from God!   I was able to pop over on Labor Day to get some Sophia snuggles, and some fun pics of her too    Love you guys…  hope all is well as you adjust to being a family of four!!

Hard to believe half a year has gone by that our Lucy girl has been part of our family!   Everyday is a new discovery with her… she is so much fun, so happy and sooo cute   She’s just started to sit, has two teeth, eats like a champ and is constantly on the move… rolling, bouncing… just full of energy!  Love her!

Next up : sweet little Sophia

This crazy guy has captured the hearts of everyone in our family…  he is a nut, and always keeps us laughing.  He is the family clown, and when things are crazy, usually he is good to provide some comic relief .  He’s come a long way from the little one year old who refused to roll over or crawl…  he doesn’t stop moving these days!     He’s generally a really good little boy, who loves his siblings and cousins, loves to play on his own and also with others, is a genuine sweetheart and is full of many funny quirks.  God blessed us abundantly when He gave Evan to us – he brings so much joy, happiness and laughter to our home!

Just over a month late, but that seems to be the theme for my kids “birthday” pics… so why break trend now

We had about 5 minutes before a dr appt in Lynden, so we stopped by the famous Lynden mural on Front street to grab a few pics.  I thought that was fitting since he is our little dutchie … blonde hair, blue eyes   There is so much more to this mural, but there were cars parked on both sides, so this was the most we could get.   Oh well, we got what we needed, and as you can tell, Evan isn’t too into looking at the camera.  But, that is all part of being three, so the pics are very fitting!
