Last blog post of 2011!  Wow, hard to believe how fast this year has gone by.  I had all intentions of doing a “year in review” post but time got away from me and the busyness of the Christmas season happened.   Maybe it’ll still happen, but if so it’ll be in  January

Anyways, on to this lovely couple.   They were engaged in September, and are planning a June wedding in beautiful Lake Chelan at a winery… sigh.  Doesn’t that sound so gorgeous?    Thanks for having me, you two, it was fun to meet  you and all the best with your wedding planning these next few months!

Baby # 3 is on the way for my dear sister and I’m going to have a new NEPHEW in a few weeks!  WOOHOO!  I can’t wait for some newborn baby snuggles (as much as I’d like to believe Lucy is still a newborn, at 22 lbs she’s really not), and for this little guy to arrive into the world!   It’ll be a whole new world for Jon and Rianne – the world of boys…   but I think they’re ready for it

Rianne, you are seriously gorgeous, and look amazing.  I just love these pictures, and like usual, totally got emo while editing them.  I’m telling you, old(er) age is making me way too soft.   May these last few weeks fly by, may God grant you patience and rest, and before you know it that little man will be here in your arms.  CAN’T WAIT!

9 months old.  I don’t want to talk about it.

This month

*starting crawling

*starting pulling herself up

*got a couple more teeth

*said “uh-0h”, “mama”, “dada”, “bye” and “up”

*spent the night in the hospital with a nasty case of croup

*Had Hand, Foot and Mouth, so spent Thanksgiving alone with Mom while the rest partied it up at the cousin’s place

*finally got to sleep in a crib instead of a playpen (took me months to refinish her crib…oops)

*grew a teeny tiny bit of hair

*moved into a big girl carseat

*started wearing 18 month sized clothes

*starting eating table food

As you can tell, this was a big month for Lucy!  Lots of changes, and sickness too!  Here’s to a HEALTHY December

You’ll remember these adorable kiddos from their two sessions last year, one at home and one at their beach house.  I was thrilled when their mom contacted me and asked about a mini session of the kids for some Christmas cards, it was so fun to catch up and take their photos again!   It was chilly and overcast, but we were just happy it wasn’t raining and windy .   20 minutes later and voila!  This is what happened.
