Len and Charlene

September 10, 2008

Well, here we go!  I am shooting my first wedding in a month, for these two wonderfully photogenic people – Len and Charlene.  To get used to eachother we did an engagement shoot last weekend, and I’m thrilled to learn how well they photograph, and how easy they are to work with.  I’ve known Len for years, his sister and I are high school best friends…  he was always the pesky little brother, until he got a bit older and turned out that he was actually fun to hang out with too :)   We had some good times back in the day,  and I think we would’ve been shocked back then if we knew I would be taking Len’s wedding photos.  Through the process I’ve got to meet his beautiful fiance Charlene.  I was excited to learn she shared my ultra sarcastic sense of humor ;)

Thanks for the opportunity guys, it’s going to be a good time!

It was hard to pick what pictures to post since so many turned out, but here are a few of my faves!  Enjoy.

We ended up getting kicked off of the train tracks/trains, but in the meantime got some great shots!

Oh, how I love graffiti.

This pic is tied with another for my fave one of the shoot.

He’s so into her…

and she is so into him…

mmmmmmmhmmmm

love the soft, tender feel of this picture.

see those guys on the tracks in orange?  yeah, they’re the ones that came and got us in trouble… haha.  Oops!

These two just couldn’t get enough of eachother..

Isn’t she stunning?

That’s all for now folks, hope you enjoyed!  Stay tuned for their wedding pics in October!

This shoot was done on the same day as the Kuik shoot, a couple hours later.  It was hot, I was pretty much 9 months pregnant, the sun was way too bright, but out of that all we got some good shots of their cute little family.  I worked with Sonya for a few years back in the day, so we knew eachother from way back.  So when they were here on vacation from Australia where they live now (she married an Aussie and he took her away!) she asked if I would do a family shoot for them!  It was great to reconnect and get to know her hubby and kids too.  This is the outcome!

Before we started Dad brought the tractor up…

All 5 on the tractor…

More family… gotta love big open fields..

Like most 2 yr olds do, this little princess runs the show :)

The 2 yr old had enough by the this point, but I still love how this picture is so real…

Doggy pile!!

Oh to be a kid again!

That wraps this one up!  Hope you enjoyed!
