Nothing could’ve made me happier last Saturday than to take some family pics for my dearest friend and her beautiful family! Not only did the pics turn out great, but I really feel that their family essense was captured – that makes me walk away from a session feeling giddy!
L and I have been best friends since high school, and since then have never lived more than 30 mins apart. This fall, L and H and their munchkins are leaving the beautiful NW for the sunny and warm Australia for a year or so.
for me,
for them… I will miss being able to call my sounding board at any time of day (although I could wake her up in the middle of the night… hmmmm), miss seing our kids get into trouble together, miss our sewing parties (since when did we get so OLD!), miss making a quick call cause I’m having a brain fart on what to make for dinner, miss acting so weird to the point our kids are questioning their mothers sanity… sigh, there is so much I’m going to miss – BUT, I am SO excited for them to be embarking on this exciting journey. That excitement overrules my sadness about it
and alas, it’s only a year!
On to the pictures! We started off in quaint downtown Lynden…
Noah is spelt T-R-O-U-B-L-E
but that little guy melts my heart!

You can even see Chloe’s pretty “nee-noes”. Joey and her are in love.

I couldn’t pick just one of these….

and off we went to find a field with long grass. we didn’t get the memo that the night before was “grass-cutting night” for the farmers, so it took a bit of driving, but we found one!
This pic cracks me up…

Not only is Lisa beautiful on the outside, she is a remarkable mother, inspiring friend and truly a God-fearing woman. Love you Lis!

such little cuties, love these kids!

bellybutton!

still goin’ strong after almost 6 years!

mmmm, and then we headed to edaleen to finish off with a tasty treat (okay i had a coffee, but they all had icecream!)

aren’t they adorable?!

That’s it for now folks! What a fun session with fun people! I love my job!
