Remember Len and Char?    Well, here we are 10.5 months later and 7 weeks before their baby is due!  I actually contacted Char to see if she was interested in maternity pics, and lo and behold I beat her to it, she was going to call me to set something up.  So, we picked a date and the weather cooperated, and wow – as you will see she is absolutely gorgeous!    33 weeks and looking and feeling fabulous… what more could you ask for?  (maybe the next 7 weeks to hurry up and be done with?!).

Thanks Char for working the camera, (you too Len!) and I hope you enjoy what came from it!    Looking forward to meeting your little one – and whether or not you have a he or a she!   I had a hard time picking favorites, so  I have a lot of twosies and even sets of 3 in this sneak peak.

Thanks Len for taking a bunch of time off work to be in the pics, hang up backdrops and pour me water :)   Fun times.

Music is near and dear to Len’s heart (he’s even in a band Parker Cove), so he was ticked pink (or blue) when we found a way to incorporate 3 of the things he loves… his wife, his baby and his guitar.    Gotta love Char’s shirt :)

Then off to the Abbey we went!   It was a beautiful day, and Char and I got to spend lots of quality time hiking around the Abbey looking for good spots for pics.  We got a few looks and one glare, but it was worth it :)

I think the bottom one in this set might be my fave…   such a perfect round beautiful belly.

and lastly…  wardrobe change…  for some urban flair.

Thanks for looking!    Until next time…  xoxo.

What better place to get a picture of these 4 brothers than in the barn at their place :)   Dad even moved the tractor out of the way so we could get them all on the hay bale…  and after only a few quick shots we got this one!  Just what Mom wanted, I do believe.

I promised Stephen and Jess a sneak peak before their one week anniversary rolled around, and here I sit, a half hour before my deadline…

They couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather for their wedding day – as far as pictures were concerned anyways :)   Compared to the 90+ degree weather we’d had in the previous few weeks, the 70ish weather and cloudy skies made for no glare and shadows, and no sweat!    The portraits were taken at Western Washington University in Bellingham…  what a gorgeous campus.   Thank you for the opportunity Stephen and Jessica, we enjoyed sharing in your special day.    If you’re reading this while still on your honeymoon, enjoy the rest of your time in Alaska…  and see you back home soon.

A big thanks goes out to Lisa, for coming along and making the ride so enjoyable :)   I’m glad we got through the awkward moment (haha), and thanks so much for all of your creative ideas, great shots, and support!   I have a very attractive self portrait of the two of us for you to enjoy…  check your email.   I wasn’t quite daring enough to post it on here for the world to see….    lol.

Without further ado, here is Stephen and Jessica’s day – photo style.   As you will be able to tell, I had a hard time picking just a few favorites.

If you’ve stuck it out this far, thanks for looking…

That’s all she wrote for tonight, folks.

When my littlest sis asked if I could take a few pics of her best friend E and her before E moves to Aussie Land for 3 years, I said it was the least I could do as a thanks for ALL the babysitting she does for me :)   So, we headed out into the 90 degree weather last week and found some shade…  whew!  The pics turned out quite nicely and I hope I managed to capture for them what they wanted – something they can cherish to remember eachother, even when they’re a world apart.   I hope you have a fun last few weeks together girls…

Pretty ladies!  It really struck me how different their features are…

Later gators.

With their wedding coming up next week, I asked if we could get in a quick engagement shoot this past week so that we could all get used to working with eachother :)   Well, I already knew it, but now it’s confirmed that we are going to have a great time on Friday…   J and S are such fun people, and it’s so fun to see them so in love and excited for their big day.

We braved the heat…  (it was still 85 degrees at 8:15 pm!) and got a few shots in.  This storyboard is going to grace their signing table, I hope you guys like it!  I’m looking forward to Friday!
